Welcome to Photo7. This Blog is a collection of photos from the students of Kathy Haddad's Photo-7 Digital Photography (night) class at Chaffey College, located in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

All photographs are the property of the individual students, and may not be copied without permission from the author.
The first assignment was to photograph an area equaling 100 square feet, and capture the subject from different angles, and different apertures, to increase or decrease depth of field. The purpose was to explore a subject beyond the "snapshot photo", and to see how control of aperture impacts the photograph. Also, photos are black and white (greyscale) to emphasize composition.
Portrait and Context
Choose one person or yourself as a model and create a "three part" portrait using the following guidelines:
1. Portrait create one image, taking into consideration lighting, setting and clothing. 2. Gesture create one image using gestures to express your subject. 3. Environment (without a person in the image,) create one image of a persons environment, to reveal another layer of information about this person.
